Dear Room 30
Once again you have made me proud.
Today we went to the Birkenhead Leisure Centre where we all enjoyed team building, kayaking and archery. Although I didn't get to participate in the activities - and believe me, I wanted to, it looked like so much fun - I had a great day watching you all.
Standing down by the pool I saw some of you conquering your fears. I know that for a few of you, the thought of getting into the kayak and being pushed out into the pool was terrifying. But every single one of you overcame that fear and I have photos of the smiles on your faces to prove it!
It was wonderful to see you working together in the team building activities. It must have been tricky running around when you were attached to somebody else during chain tag. I really like the way you helped each other so that everybody succeeded.
Watching the archery, I saw perseverance. For most of you it was the first time you had held a bow and arrow. I saw arrows that kept falling off and others that were firing in the wrong direction. (Thank you for not hitting me!) But nobody gave up and that makes me proud.
I had a fabulous day. I know you did too. Enjoy these photos that I took and we'll talk about all your experiences on Monday!
Your teacher,
Miss L
