THE BEST YEAR IN MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There was a special visitor in the in the class on the last week of term 3. It was Miss Kimpton.Let me explain, the day that we were practicing plays, a stranger walked into the class room.Then everyone was like who is she? After that Miss Lankow introduced Miss Kimpton. Miss Lankow said"Class this is Miss Kimpton". Miss Kimpton could only stay for 5 weeks, she was really fun.

Here is the part when I tell you about athletics day. I competed in long jump and the relays. Both of the room 30 relay teams came 2nd. Sienna was so close to winning.

Now I really want to tell you about Grandparents Day.My Nana and Grandad came to Grandparents day. My Grandad came to my class and my Nana went to my brothers class. I watched a little of the Juniors Folk Dance.

Once a year there is orca-day. It is when you can come in black and white. You can also bring som e money if you want to by stuff, play games and win prizes. You can even by a orca band for $2.

The best thing in term 4 is the Bee Lady coming in to see the middle school. In the morning the middle school went to the hall. We learnt so much. After morning-tea some of the middle school went to do different activities. Miss Lankow split Room 30 into groups. I was split apart from Evie, Victoria and Saijal. The candle making was the easiest to do. First you get some wool/string and a flat piece of bee wax. Then you roll the wool/string in the wax then light the bit at the top. Be careful not to light yourself!

Police Helicopter!

The Police Helicopter came to Point View School. The Helicopter was really loud and COOOOOOOOOOOL!!!!! .Here are some videos and photos!

My BFF Saijal

My BFF Saijal, she is so funny. I play with her every day,we laugh and have so much fun together. She is the best friend I have ever had. She was in room 33,08 and this room with    me.

Middle school Commonwealth games

On Tuesday the 29th of July,after morning tea the whole middle school met outside the hall.Different classes were representing different countries.Room 30 was representing India!The events that I played were bat and ball bounce & bum shuffle.I came 1st place in bum shuffle!In bum shuffle I had a team to win.They were Alyssa,Mia,Me,Victoria,Violet and Jessica.By Lauren!

SSR

SSR is silent reading and sit by yourself.You can't sit next to your friends because if you do you will get distracted.Then you will get told off and your teacher  will say to you "GO SIT SOME WHERE ELSE!"In a growly voice.But first she will say it in a nice voice but then she'll get in a grumpy mood.

Kashin the ASB award

At full school assembles Mrs Parr comes up on stage and someone gets Kashin for great ASB banking.When Mrs Parr started to say the name I new it was me,I thought I would never get it but I did.I could not stop smiling  on stage.Here are some photos of me and Kashin.

Singing

In singing time the middle school goes to Miss Alines room to learn some new songs and sing some old songs.We sing until it is lunch time.The middle school sings for about half an hour. I love singing, it is my favourite hobby.In Point View School we also have a middle school choir and a sinner  school choir.

Mufti and sausage sizzle

On Friday 11 April it was sausage sizzle day and if you bring a gold coin then you are aloud to wear mufti any colour and anything.Sausage sizzle only happens once a term.You get tomato sauce (if you like but you don't have to)with white bread.You also get juice.These are all you have to odder and pay money.You get all this stuff at lunch. 
Sausage sizzle is on Fridays only and that is the year 4s middle school playground day. Today every one in room 30 is in mufti.   

Passport

 All of room 30 has a passport.Room 30 can put learning into it by putting stamps of the things we do at school and it doesn't have to be in the classroom it can be anywhere in the school.Fist we had to do our front cover then Miss Lankow put the covers on when we were finished.After that room 30 had to miss a page then we could put some stamps in it.

Technology

At technology term 1 room 30 made dragons with Mr Rankin. We had so much fun!
Room 30 could bring empty toilet rolls from home to make the head of the dragon.
The body of the dragon is made out of material and the tail is made out of felt.
1.We first cut a little bit of material then we started to rip the rest apart.
2.We got our body and had our dragons background as white.
3.Room 30 used special glue to make it stay there.
4.Then we had to iron it so it won't come of.
5.Then room 30 filled it with stuffing.
6.After that we cut out the toilet rolls into some teeth for the head.We cut out half of another toilet roll.
7.Then room 30 pocked a pin thru to make a hole so a skewer can fit thru the holes so you can holed it.
8.After that room 30 had to stitch on some botton's.
9.If you had time you were aloud to colour in the heads of our dragon's.
10.Then the next morning Miss Lankow had out the hot glue-gun to stick on the eyes.In side the eyes were a black dot that could move around.
