My year in room 30 - Alyssa

I have enjoyed learning lots of exciting things in room 30. One of my favourite activities we did was going to swimming at Lloyd Elsmore. We had to sit on the side of the wall with life jackets on & someone came along & pushed us in & we had to get to the other side . It was fun.

This year we have also had mufti days, Orca mufti & sausage sizzle. We eat sausages

Wearable Arts

Miss Lankow, Mrs Phipps and Miss Kimpton were looking at us walking on the stage.  The parents and the children were looking at us.  All the classes were looking at us.  We were walking and dancing and skipping.  We were wearing togas that we painted.  My colours were yellow and red and blue.  I had pinky red flowers.  On our feet we had sandals made from cardboard and coloured string.  I had a crown made from pinky red cardboard leaves.  My class was good at making it.  My teacher helped us. She told us to go to the stage and wait for our song.  Mum waved to me and Wyatt was dancing on Mum's knee.  He was so happy.  Room 30 had the happy song, the same as Room 5.

Paige

We went to Clevedon School.  We found that they have a swimming pool and a library full of books.  My buddy Paige read a Greedy Cat book from the library.

Paige is nice.  She typed on her iPad and we cut the shape of the people with our fingers.  We made a poster with heart shapes on it.

Technology

I  did lots of sawing.Mrs Blakeman helped me do messy painting  but she  said I can paint  her hands all black and we used paper towels.After that  Mr Rankin said we need to draw big pictures on the wood.Next we used the wood drill he said to make pictures.I had lots of fun. by Alyssa

Orca Day

Mrs Craig painted an orcas tail on my face.  I love orca whales.  I love to get my face painted. My friends Hannah and Katerina said we are 3 orcas together.
