SSR

SSR is silent reading and sit by yourself.You can't sit next to your friends because if you do you will get distracted.Then you will get told off and your teacher  will say to you "GO SIT SOME WHERE ELSE!"In a growly voice.But first she will say it in a nice voice but then she'll get in a grumpy mood.

Art Gallery

On Tuesday Hannah and I went to the art Gallery and while I was walking to the Art Gallery. I heard the bus slowly tumbling away from us. When we arrived, Miss Craig told us to eat our morning tea. Suddenly a lady came and said ''Hi, my name is Mandy''and clapped her hands once. Then Miss Craig told us to say Hi Mandy and the parents also said it. The lady said that we could go inside. While we went in, there were lots of other people waiting to go in. Luckily, there were 3 entry and exits. we went in the odd one which was a normal door which was made out of glass. You needed to press a button.

On Friday the 27 June 2014,Jack,Joshua,Evie,Lauren and Shemaiah built a ginorms tower.

It took along time and a lot of things to built with. We used tens blocks and hundreds blocks and a lot of them. We made it at lunch and it took some team work.It was a wet day so we had to play inside.
Joshua started and Evie,Jack,Lauren and Shemaiah joined in and it got bigger and bigger and bigger.

                                    

Paige

We went to Clevedon School.  We found that they have a swimming pool and a library full of books.  My buddy Paige read a Greedy Cat book from the library.

Paige is nice.  She typed on her iPad and we cut the shape of the people with our fingers.  We made a poster with heart shapes on it.

Trip to Clevedon School

On Monday the 30th of June, Room 30 went to Clevedon school. Room 30 was the first class to go to Clevedon School.They showed us around their school. We made cardboard aqueducts it was a lot of hard work. On that day it was raining but we still had fun at Clevedon School. Their hall stage is bigger than our hall stage but our school is bigger than their school. My buddy was Joe. He is a Year 6.
